This is a Stunning and Collectable piece of Victorian Gold and Gemstone Jewellery. Made to go onto a Pocket Watch Chain it is a Fob Seal in 15ct Yellow Gold featuring 4 Small Round Sections of Rose Gold and 4 of Platinum in the Pattern. The Fob features a 5ct Oval Amethyst to the base, a Leaf, Flower and Heart Design throughout and has a large Bail at the top so it can be attached to a Watch Chain though if you added another Jump Ring it could also be used as a Pendant. As is common with Victorian Jewellery it is not Hallmarked unless it was on top of the Bail and has rubbed off but it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold and Platinum Contents. The Fob weighs 4.5g, measures 29mm long x 16mm wide x 13mm deep and the Amethyst measures 12mm x 10mm. It is in a used and good condition for its age with no real damage and just some minor surface wear including to the Amethyst. As can be seen in the photos the Bail has gone thinner at the top with use but it is in no danger of going through so does not detract however is mentioned for accuracy.
