This auction is for a 1982 Carver 3607 Aft Cabin. This yacht is powered by 2 smooth running Crusader 7.4L (454's) that produce 350HP each for a total of 700HP. Engines run as they should and the transmissions shift as they should. This vessel has a full enclosure and is in great shape for the year. It has a survey from late 2019. The boat has been updated throughout. It has 3 AC units all functional and keep it cold inside even on hot summer days. It has 2 heads both equipped with showers and the Aft Cabin has a bathtub. It has a three burner stove top, microwave, full fridge, and has an additional fridge/shower up top. The boat sleeps 8+ comfortabaly. It has a 6500w genset generator that powers everything including the AC units while underway. The boat has foam deck flooring throught the outside. It has LED lighting throughout. It has an upgraded onboard charging system. It has a chart plotter/depth/fish finder/ etc on the flybridge and in the galley.
This is Coast Guard certified vessel. The boat is classified and a 36ft vessel, but it is actually is 41' from bow to swim platform.
It will need a battery for the windless, the generator and will be due eventually for a portside engine battery. The foam flooring on the Port side walkway will eventually need to be replaced as it is showing sighns of sun wear. (the foam decking is appx $60/roll on Amazon. Its a sticky adhesive back and take minutes to change as recommended every 3-5 years). The bow hatch will need the plexi-glass replaced (ive replaced it multiple times and my kids keep stepping throught it.) Everything on the boat works as it should with the exception of a few small things like the fuel gauges are intermittant. I do reccomend getting the bottom cleaned prior to moving the boat due to algae growth and barnicle removal. I can give you the number of my scuba bottom clearner guy who only charges $4/ft. The boat is in excellent shape for the year. There may be little paint knicks here an there inside and out but nothing that needs attention. Please be realistic on expectations.
A deposit of $1,000 will be required from the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction ending. Full payment must be made within 7 days of end of the auction unless other agreements are made with seller prior to auction end.
Buyer will be responsible for pick-up/shipping. This is obvioulsly a very large vessel and will need special arrangements if a road shipping company is able to transport it. The Vessel is currently in a marina slip in Jacksonville, Fl called Harbortown marina. I current rent the slip for $600/mo. If the buyer plans on leaving the boat in Jacksonville, the slip lease may be transferrable.
Feel free to call/text with any questions ONLY if you have intent of bidding on the auction. Seller reserves the right to end the auction due to local sale.
Thank you and good luck bidding!
