Audio Output Transformer

This is an audio PA (Public Address) line output transformer, which is a good replacement for many vacuum tube radios. With an 8 ohm speaker (secondary load), the primary impedances range from approximately 2.5 - 20K.

These were removed from unused equipment, and are in perfect working order. The windings have been tested for continuity.

70.7 volt line transformer. Primary has 4 taps. With an 8 ohm load on the secondary, and using a voltage ratio test, we measured the primary impedances as approximately 20,000 ohms, 10,000 ohms, 4,500 ohms and 2,500 ohms.

Nominal resistance of primary taps are 540, 360, 245 and 165 ohms. Secondary resistance is approximately 0.5 ohms.

Nominal size: 1.45" x 1.10" x 1.25" (LxWxH). 1.75" between mounting hole centers.

Good replacement transformer for many vacuum tube radios, low power audio amplifiers, or general experimenter use. User must determine suitability for their requirements.
