This Apple MacBook Pro 17" from 2011 is for someone looking for parts or repair. With an Intel Core i7 2nd Gen processor, 8GB of RAM and both AMD Radeon HD 6750M and Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPUs, this laptop has the potential to be a great machine once it's fixed up. The 17-inch screen has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 and the laptop features built-in webcam, Bluetooth, optical drive, widescreen display, Wi-Fi, built-in speakers and built-in microphone.

Aside from the soft case, this is for the laptop only.

The silver-coloured laptop is from the MacBook Pro series, released in early 2011. It has no hard disk drive (removed for data recovery), but comes with an 8GB of RAM (upgradable to 16gb).

This laptop is a good investment for someone who loves to tinker with technology and wants to bring this MacBook back to life as it does run Snow Leopard 10.6.6 through to High Sierra.

Now for the tricky bit: the laptop does not boot or show any sign of life when the power button is pressed. When a charger is connected, the charger light goes green which suggests that the circuitry is working. It was working but suddenly stopped a couple of years ago, and I don’t have the time or inclination to attempt a repair. It’s dusty inside and is missing a few screws (and the hard drive), but the screen is in good condition.

Sold as seen and no returns.
