Fender American Vintage 62 Stratocaster Thin Lacquer Olympic White (2006) Fender USA American Vintage Series, 62 Stratocaster Thin Lacquer. 1962 style with alder body, maple neck, and slab rose fingerboard. The Thin Lacquer series is all lacquered except for the sealer (base) HOMOCLAD, and is characterized by a good "raw sound" because the coating is thin. One of its characteristics is that the more you play it, the more it tends to change over time and the body sound changes. The lustrous core sound produced by this product is a superb Strat that can be used for all purposes, from a sparkling clear clean sound to a sticky and powerful sound when driving. There are dents along with paint cracks on the contour, dullness of parts, and overall signs of use such as scratches and dents.
