Here are two vintage cast iron parrot bookends on sale for a bargain price. Both birds have a great patina reflecting their age and character. The paint colors are still pretty good with a red head, yellow/gold beak and throat, and green feathers. Being cast iron they have a nice heft to them, which makes them good for their purpose -- holding up a row of books!

Measurements are 6 1/2" tall by 3" wide.

In terms of condition, I think they look pretty great, though with age you definitely have a few spots of missing paint and bumps, especially on top of one of the birds.  Plus the red felt is missing from one of the bookends, easily replaced. But I have posted sixteen photos covering all angles and aspects so that you can see for yourself.

At this price, I think you're getting a great bargain for a pair of good lookin' birds!
