A very beautiful and very large 18th century french old master oil on canvas depicting a portrait of a shepherdess seated in a landscape with sheep. The work is on canvas which has been relined around 1920. The detail to the painting is exquisite and the work is in very good condition - it needs some very minor retouching to the girls face.
