Clif always tried to get me to be more interested in Aikido.  I was always fascinated by his intertwining of Aikido and Judo (and every other art he had ever learned) into a seemless combination.  He was able to lock the two together in action but at the same time separate them when instructing on one particular element.   Doing randori with him always meant seeing a unified understanding that few will ever have.   It was fantastic.   Clif often gave me stuff as payment for helping him sell items both online and in person.   He gave me two different Fugakukai Aikido patches.  He gave me this one and a similar one in silver .   I don't know the meaning of the differences.   Too soon after I received these patches then  Clif needed to move to be closer to his physicians.   Too soon after I received these patches that Fugakukai came to an end with the death of it's founder to be replaced with Karl Geis Ryu.   I will never be Fugakukai Aikido.  I don't have the same interest at the moment without the brilliant blending of the arts.  I suspect former Fugakukai members might want these patches particularly since they were Clif's.
