Paul Jouet
began his career building
naval ships with Antoine Blondeau.
By the 1920's Jouet was building
yacht for high society and speedboat s
for the navy. He continued building
fishing, passenger, scientific vessels
and recreation boat.
The logo on the cover was for his
boatyard in Sartouville France.
Jouet left his company to his son in
1951. The company assets were sold off
in 1962.
The photo is unmarked but was
along side the cover in the archive.
Rough edge opening on cover.
Photo is curled with corner crease.
Both are toned from age.
