Imperial Russ Faberge Silver Enamel Cigarette Case for Grand Duke Vladimir c1890

I am pleased to offer from my private collection this one of a kind important historical antique Imperial Russ Faberge solid silver and enamel cigarette case belonged to Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich c1890's.
The case is made by Faberge's head workmaster Julius Rappoport.

The case is made of solid silver in Art-Noveau style ,decorated with the personal monogram of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich VA in Cyrillic bebeath the Romanov Crown. 

The case is hallmarked with the Imperial Russ high purity silver 88 standart hallmark ; with Faberge's hallmark in Cyrillic; with the Imperial warant eagle seal hallmark and with Julius Rappoport's initials I.P.

Preserved in excellent condition with the original patina.

Very rare and highly collectible piece of history.

Provenance:

The case has been awarded personally by Grand Duke Vladimir to the Imperial Russian Cavalry Regiment division commander Major Alexander Voznetcov.

The case comes from Vozentcov's family estate.
