Vintage 1960-70's Chinese God Shou Lao

Vintage Mid Century Hand Carved TEAK WOOD Sculpture of the Chinese God of Longevity

Provenance:  This and other African and Asian hand Carved wood animals were sold by my mother in the 1960s and 1970's at her antique store. When she closed the store in the late 1970's they were packaged up into storage and safely preserved. They were unfortunately forgotten until my parents recently moved and were found again.  It is time for someone to cherish these again like they had been in the past.

Dimensions:  8.25" tall and 2.5" wide

Condition:  Hand Carved Solid Teak Wood Retains its deep rich wood tone as seen in the photos.  The wood has great retained luster and no cracking or splitting.  Stands flat and independently.  There is some damage to the top of its headdress with a chip in this area as seen in the photo. Also there is a hole when made, in the top of his right hand indicating there may have been an object he was holding.  this can not be seen face on but if looking down (see photo)  You can be creative and leave it or place something of you liking there.

Returns:  You can return this Collectible Item for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it. However, you MUST return it in the same condition you received it. I cannot refund your money if you either damage or use the item. Thank you for understanding. This is STRICTLY being sold as a collectable.  It has been stored indoors in a conditioned room and without pets and smoking or other odors as part of my mothers collection.
