Universal Compatibility
This 3M Adhesive Dashboard Pad is compatible with all APPS2Car Dashboard Suction Cup Mounts for smartphones, and Garmin, TomTom GPS mounting pedestals, and car dashboard decoration model.
Dashboard Pad Mounting Instructions
1. Choose the location you would like to apply the disk and clean the dashboard surface area thoroughly to remove any dust or debris and free of any dashboard conditioners or other treatments. Allow the area to dry completely.
2. Remove the paper cover from the dashboard pad.
3. Stick the pad on the cleaned dash surface, and rub firmly over the surface for 1 min. to ensure a strong adhesive grip. And remove the protective film.
Note: According to customer experience, it is better to let it set for 24-48 hrs before attaching suction cup mount onto it.
4. Place the suction cup of the pedestal (sold separately) firmly down on the center of the mounting pad and lower the securing lever.
Note:
* Do not place the mount in or near an air bag deployment zone or where it will obstruct view of the road or hinder vehicle operation. Please mount it on a flat surface.
** Each pad is one-time use only. Once removed, it can not be reapplied.
Removal Tips
- Prepare the surface around the disk by applying a generous amount of rubbing alcohol or similar adhesive removal product to the area with a cotton swab. Let the liquid saturate the adhesive area for about a minute.
- Take a long piece of dental floss in each hand and slowly work back and forth at the base of the adhesive disk. Gently use the dental floss to cut the adhesive from the dashboard until the black plastic disk is removed.
- If the sticky adhesive area breaks apart or does not come off completely, re-apply a small amount of alcohol (or adhesive removal liquid) and carefully lift off the remaining area by hand.
