About the Artist
Celene has been voted one of the best artists in Waldo County, Maine, by both The Citizen and The Republican Journal’s “Best of the Best, People’s Choice Awards." She is a member of the Plein Air Painters of Maine, The Maine Arts Commission and The Maine Art Scene. Recipient of many awards, she was the co-owner of The Working Art Gallery in Belfast, Maine. After 15 busy years, the gallery is now retired and Celene is enjoying more time to paint. She shares her love of oil painting by teaching classes in her home studio and sharing her thoughts on her blog and website. She is now offering her work on-line as well as in local galleries.
