A great find for collectors!  Collectors of U.S. Playing Cards (Windsor Ontario Canada), Congress series cards and Jokers!
Series is noted on cards as T 601 and features a Sailing Ship on the Jokers. The extra Joker - Congress logo with Maple Leafs in opposing corners - seems to be quite rare as we have been unable to uncover much info about it in our research.

Both card sets have been used. The black banded set fully used and the red banded set for a Euchre set as nothing below a 9 has any edge wear of the gold edging.

No creases, stains or marks on the card faces or backs.Backs feature a Victorian couple, walking about in a garden? with a horse and buggy in the background.

Card size is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Entire set in case - 7 3/4 " x 3 " x 1 3/4 ".

Part of a Vintage Bridge set that includes a 'Handy Auction Bridge Tablet No 10' by Warwick Bros & Rutter Limited.  Warwick were publishers in the early 1900's and ended business in 1923 (City of Toronto Archives Ref.)

With the Cards dating to the 1930's - and the Silk type lining of the embossed leather like case - in Wonderful, used, fantastic for the age, condition (no rips, tears, stains) and the original snap still working, - The only thing missing is the original pencil!  This all adds up to a real find for collectors!
