An all original 1940 Packard horn button or horn ring cap that I believe fits 110 and 120 model automobiles. This horn button or cap may fit other models of Packard automobiles manufactured in different years than described above and so please make certain it is the part you need for your project or collection.

Overall, this button is in excellent condition. It is not bent, broken or repaired. It still retains its original factory paint. This brown paint is rich and shiny with just a few imperfections. The chrome is also beautiful with just a few light nicks, scratches, scrapes and/or rubs.

The original Bakelite mounting portion of the cap is also like new. It is not bent, chipped, broken or repaired. In fact, the metal Packard horn button or cap appears to have never been installed on the Bakelite backing as the metal tabs that normally hold them together are unbent. There is little wear on either part. Consequently, I think this is most likely a ‘New Old Stock’ (NOS) part. However, it could be just very lightly used.

The button measures ~ 4 1/4” in diameter.
