On 12th September 2009 at the Silverstone Le Mans Series Race, the forerunner of WEC, Ian Cook of Popbangcolour fame created the LMS Logo in his unique style using remote control cars, miniature tyres and other Motorsport 'bits'.

In vibrant oil colours, this artwork is fully framed with perspex and wooden frame, it measures approximately 250cm x 160cm, large!

The canvas was framed after the race and was going to be taken from race to race but for various reasons this never happened, it was put in storage and 15 years later has just seen the light of day again.

The oils are just as vibrant as the day it was painted, the frame is a little scratched but nothing that a little polish won't take out. It was very well stored in dry conditions with protection on the frame and wrapped in copious amounts of bubble wrap.

Original Ian Cook artworks seldom come on to the market and when they do they sell for many thousands of pounds, framing alone of this size canvas costs over £1K.

This item is sold as collection only. It's size means it is not the easiest item to transport, it will ideally need a 3.5t van or at least a large transit for collection. We can arrange transport to anywhere in the UK or Western Europe, but please message for information and costs before committing to buy, it will not be cheap!

If you would like to see the painting before purchase this can easily be arranged, it is in Milton Keynes.

There are several autographs on the bottom, one is Ian himself, the other we cannot identify but we think it was someone from the ACO or the organisers Peter Auto

If you need any more information please message.
