The piece is hand painted with the Vellum technique and decorated with
the scene of a bridge and roses. There are two framing borders, one is
etched gold and the other, that includes the pierced handles, made of heavy gold.
The signature of the artist "Edward Challinor" is on the front.
This piece is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks nor hairlines.
The gold and the scene look in wonderful condition with no visible wear.
A little flaw on the edge visible in the last picture.
The bowl is approximately 9 1/4" by 7 1/2" and 2 1/4" high to the handle.
