ALe 880 features: both truncated heads and with intercom, modern type headlights, short horns, with smoking pictograms and late 1980s writings, FS 42LR type pantographs. Metal frame, ABS case and sub-case. Spring-loaded buffers. Supplied with one front in a closed configuration and the other in an open configuration, with bellows (possibility of configuring all the fronts by choice thanks to the additional ones supplied). Equipped with double 5-pole motorization and cardan transmission on both trolleys with telescopic joints, drawbars and NEM compliant hook holders on both heads. Inversion of the lights based on the direction of travel white/red. Internal lighting as standard. Lights configurable in analogue via microswitches and digitally via functions (head lights, tail lights, passenger compartment, cabin A and cabin B). Model designed for the installation of Plux22 decoders - without dismantling the case - and with speaker installed and wired as standard. Minimum suggested radius 420 mm.
