Using his design for the official poster for the first ever World Cup in Uruguay, Laborde also created posters like this one to advertise individual matches - in this case, the Group 1 game between Mexico and Chile. The game was won by Chile 3-0. This was Chiles first ever World Cup game and Mexico’s second.
