Gerrans won an unprecedented FOUR Australian Tour Down Under races (2006, 2012, 2014, 2016), was a two-time winner of the Australian National Road Race Championships (2012 & 2014), won various One Day Road Races, and experienced stages wins in all three of the Grand Tours. In 2013, he claimed the Yellow Jersey on Stage 4 of the Tour de France, and was a regular of the Grand Tours for much of his career. He participated in two Olympic Games (2008 & 2012) for Australia.
