This mug was produced for Blatz Beer by McCoy for the 1933 Chicago Century of Progress World's Fair.

Auction includes a replica label obtained from a collector.

Incised on both sides are three swordsmen raising their sword tips over a beer bottle, also the words OLD HEIDELBERG.

Steins measure 5.25 inches tall, their glaze and color match well.

Excellent condition! No chips or cracks, a really nice matched pair.  A glaze pop here and there, as it always is with thick old pottery. One stein has light crazing on the interior, nothing to interfere with use.  A rough edge here and there. Great color, bright green glaze, with a historical significance.

For 20 years I have collected interesting pottery, but now downsizing. Also, I am not a beer drinker!
