Famous plaster cast taken from the ‘Ecstacy of St. Teresa’ by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, handmade and made to order by classically trained sculptor and cast maker Nicholas H Wood. This artwork descends from the original sculpture. 

The Ecstasy of St Teresa portrays Saint Teresa of Jesus, was a Spanish Carmelite nun and prominent Spanish mystic and religious reformer.  Bernini’s sculpture is housed in the Cornaro Chapel of the church of Santa Maria Della Vittoria in Rome and is generally considered to be one of the sculptural masterpieces of the Baroque period.

The plaster casting is fitted with a metal wire for hanging on the wall.
