Here is a very fine antique Austrian vase made in Turn Austria in the early 20th century. It is marked with the Alexandra porcelain mark which is the mark of the factory continued by Ernst Wahliss' two sons after Ernst died in 1900. In 1905 they named the factory Alexandra Porcelain. The vase stands 25cm tall and is finely moulded in the Jugendstil style with stylised borders and enamelled jewel like triangles. The body of the vase is finely hand painted with autumnal leaves and these are daintily highlighted with gilt.

The vase is in lovely condition. I can find no flaws. Please study the photos carefully to satisfy yourself with the condition of the piece.

If, like me, you enjoy searching eBay for hidden treasures, you may enjoy my novel (see my AboutMe). Mr Prendergast's Fantastic Find is a light hearted comedy about what happens when a keen eBayer discovers two priceless antique vases on eBay.It has plenty of great reviews and is available to download on Kindle for less than a pound.

As always I am selling without reserve and at a low starting price to encourage early bidders. I start all my sales at below cost as there is no fun in an auction without any bids. Shipping within the UK will be free. That's right, what you bid will be what you pay. Overseas shipping will be £32 or, if you prefer you can use the eBay Global Shipping Programme.  I offer a NO QUIBBLE money back guarantee and will refund you in full if you are in any way unhappy with this item.

I am indebted to an eBayer for the following additional information, Alfred Stellmacher is the creator.   Despite the markings, you're comments are true to form and we can therefore date the vase to 1876/1902.
