An original antique print depicting the profile of Napoleon Bonaparte. The upper portion of the print reads "Copyright Published by Hills & Saunders, Oxford, 1910." Hills & Saunders operated out of England during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The print is pencil signed at the lower right by Herbert Stodart. We were not able to identify the type of print, but it is not an offset lithograph. It is set on heavy antique paper with plate marks. The coloring appears to be in the print. Based on the above, this is assumed to be a limited edition print from 1910. The measurements are approximately 14" x 15". This is a rare item, as we have been unable to find a match.

Overall good to very good condition with wear commensurate with age and use. The print has a few flaws including what appears to be a one inch scratch, a spec of color loss (below and away from chin), and other minor areas of discoloration. The print has been trimmed from an original larger size.
