Steel pommel, # 63546 with working release button, wooden grips with steel cross-guard (numbers on guard I cant make out). A 43cm blade struck with LITHGOW name, shields and stars with 1917 manufacture date. Blade edge is old factory resharpened and in overall good blued condition. Scarce, double seamed, light Lithgow 1920 stamped scabbard of good leather and metal mounts with throat stamped D/|\D 6. Completed with a worn webbing frog, this bayonet is in overall good condition and measures 55cm (not including scabbard).
