Vintage model of a sailing ship.  Made by Daysun, probably in the 1950s or thereabouts.  Marked Daysun FOREIGN on the base.

The ship appears to be made of wood, and the sails and masts are plastic/perspex.  4" (10 cm) tall including the clear thin plastic "case" (ship itself is 3.5" tall).  Weight 25g.

Condition

Very good condition, with no damage to the ship itself, though the clear plastic display box is dented and has tiny white spots on the top (possibly household paint?).

A nice little vintage ornament.
