The instrument is in ready to play condition with tears, wears and professionally repaired cracks on top plate, good ebony and rosewood set up, new master made bridge and new strings. The violin has an excellent high grained spruce of the top and two pieces back of strongly flamed maple with matched ribs, neck and scroll. Rich golden amber color varnish shows an amazing wooden choice. The whole length of the violin is 585 mm and the back 358 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 165 mm; middle bouts: 109 mm; lower bouts: 205 mm. Full size. The sound is very deep, rich, powerful, suitable for soloist.
