SUPERB RARE VICTORIAN ARTS & CRAFTS OAK ROLL TOP WRITING DESK

This is an outstanding Victorian arts and crafts Roll top writing desk. The desk is made of solid solid oak and is in fabulous condition throughout as it has recently been re polished. The desk has an outstanding and very rare interior with 27 various drawers all with original brass handles. The tambour works very well and is lockable with original lock and key. The desk has a raised panel only the superior desks are made this way. The desk will dismantle into several parts making it very easy to move and assemble.

The base of the desk has 9 drawers all the drawers have amazing original handles and dovetails. The desk has a large amount of leg room. We date this desk between 1850 and 1900.

Overall, this is an outstanding and very rare antique roll top desk in excellent order throughout and will be a great investment as well as a practical piece of furniture. In our opinion this is is one of the best roll top desks to be found on ebay and are hardly ever seen in this condition.
