This is a vintage Singer Model 925 sewing machine.  It is similar to the Singer 920 but the 925 has a built in free arm.  To use the free arm mode, simply push down on the back half of the sewing bed and it snaps down (pics 4 and 5).  The machine has 9-12 built in stitch patterns that include the buttonhole feature.  It uses a drop in bobbin.  The previous owner said the thread jams up around the bobbin.  I tossed the bobbin and added three new ones.  This machine can use a twin needle and has a darning setting.

This is a slant model machine.  That means the needle arm comes down at an angle and give the machine more punching power to punch through light leather, canvas, sail cloth, denim etc.  The machine has a two speed motor at the flip of the switch.  When the power is on the strip on the front of the machine lights up and shows you the built in patterns.  It has stitch width, stitch length, and pattern selector knobs.  It has a 1.3 amp motor.  That is three times the power of some of the newer machines.  Free shipping is for the contiguous states.  Please no post office boxes.  The manual can be downloaded for free or purchased from eBay etc.  The machine comes with the following;
