The listing is for a Sega Genesis model 2 console with a VA1 motherboard. The following refurbishments & modifications have been performed by our team of highly trained and skilled electronics technicians in our electronics workshop. (NOT HOBBYIST LEVEL WORK):
- Entire shell has been cleaned.
- The motherboard has been cleaned with 99% isopropyl alcohol.
- Modded with the Triple Bypass board; this console outputs flawless RGB video and stereo audio.
- All major capacitors on the motherboard have been replaced with Panasonic,Rubycon,& Nichicon brand capacitors.
- The original 7805 voltage regulator has been replaced with a brand new 78S05 voltage regulator for reduced heating and ideal performance.
- Blue LED ON/OFF Indicator light.
Console has been tested using Genesis 2 attenuated Csync scart cables with the OSSC upscaler, as well as HD Retrovision Genesis 2 component cables.
Please be aware: the Triple Bypass Mod disables composite video(Red,White,Yellow cables)
