Description

I am pleased to offer from my private collection this important historical vintage Bishop's pastoral ring that Pope Paul VI gave to each one of the bishops participating in the Second Vatican Council c1965.
Henrico Manfreni was the artist who designed and made the ring. He was a very famous Italian artist who designed items from Pius XII up until John Paul II.

This is a solid 18k gold ring with the images of Peter and Paul and Jesus on it. And every bishop that participated in the council was given one of these rings (over 2800 participants).

The rings were given at the end of the council, which was December 8, 1965.

The ring is size 10.5
12g heavy,solid 18k gold.
19mm high.

The ring comes with an appraisal certificate for $10,000.00
