Vintage Federal Signal Corporation Electric Horn 125 Volt Model 56 Working and Loud. Purchased in an estate sale as a bundle package. Extension cord wired to it. I plugged this thing up and had to unplug it about as fast as I plugged it up. It is loud. The horn itself looks to be made of brass. You may see that the same as I do when you look at the pictures. It’s definitely not heavy. I’m seeing a lot of model 53s listed but 56’s. Not sure if they’re rare or uncommon. Laying down flat this thing measures approximately 9 x 8 inches wide and stands 7-1/4 inches tall.
