This Pram was purchased by my mother in Selfridges, London in early 1966 ( I was born in June 66),it`s the top of the range `London Baby Coach` with an aluminium hand built body in very dark green with gold hand painted gold pin strips and blue hood, rain/sun cover and interior.
The axel's can be moved to a narrow or wide position to help with tight turning circles, and has a great brake.
It also has the ability to have two children face to face or facing backwards as required.
The chrome is good with excellent body, tyres etc and all parts work, the hood was replaced around 30 years ago and still matches to the original fabric.
it will require a new mattress for safety reasons.
This is a very rare and in 1966 a very expensive hand built pram ( not like all the cheap versions that look like it ), and ideal for film or promotional work.
I`m the original owner from new, and apart from the leather suspension straps and hood is totally original.
Although it can be broken down, I`m listing it as collection only.
