Gretsch G6199-62HT Tennessee Rose 2009 (2009) This is a Tennessee Rose manufactured by Terada Musical Instruments in Japan during the 10-odd years between Gretsch's revival and its acquisition by Fender. This model is equivalent to Chet Atkins' signature model, the Tennessean. This is a 16-inch single cutaway body using maple wood for the body and neck, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The pickup is equipped with a genuine Filtertron, the bridge is a Tune-O-Matic type, and the tailpiece is equipped with a Bigsby, making it a standard Gretsch specification. The controls are master volume / 2 volumes / master tone.
