QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cables on offer are a fully terminated stereo PAIR with AIRLOC banana plugs fitted with red and black QED heatshrink.
The cables allow connection of a pair of speakers to two channels of your amplifier or receiver.
Designed with performance in mind, QED Silver Anniversary-XT speaker cable boasts all of the characteristics associated with Silver Anniversary, but with the added enhancement of the Aircore™ technology found in the most prestigious QED X-Tube cables. The precise cylindrical construction of the silver-plated, 99.999% pure, oxygen free copper cables reduces the distortion caused by ‘skin effect’.
The result is a completely neutral speaker cable that will allow your hi-fi or home cinema system to perform at its best. The cable is a standard ‘figure 8’ configuration and is attractively finished, with each silver-plated core visible through a flexible 3.9mm diameter clear polyethylene outer sheath.
Cable is available in different lengths to order and can be fitted with either Airloc Forte banana plugs or Airloc spades on request.

AIRLOC TERMINATION
Brand new AIRLOC Forte plugs with improved pin section are fitted, designed to maximise contact area throughout the wide tolerance range found in 4mm amplifier and speaker sockets. This means that the connection remains uniformly tight and with its premium gold-plating, provides optimum sonic performance through time.
Please note - the Airloc banana plugs are factory fitted with heatshrink.

X-TUBE TECHNOLOGY™
At low frequencies both X-TubeTM and conventional stranded/solid core speaker cables convey signals in a linear way. However, at high frequencies, X-TubeTM retains a near-linear signal transfer, whereas the conventional cable fails to conduct uniformly across the entire conductor area. The result is that X-TubeTM delivers greater fidelity across the audio spectrum which would other wise be lost in ordinary cables.
AIRCORE TECHNOLOGY™
QED cables above 2.5mm2 cross sectional area utilise Aircore technology to obviate the skin effect by bundling several separately insulated smaller cores together to make up a larger CSA. If these conductors are arranged around a hollow central core of polyethylene the self inductance exhibited by the cable can be reduced to around half that predicted by calculation.
