Jesse L. Shore enlisted
in the Union Army on Feb. 19, 1864 as a Private, and mustered into
"M" Co., 9th Pennsylvania Cavalry. He was Mustered Out
on July 18, 1865 at Lexington, North Carolina (Absent, sick at M.O.) Source:
