Cover commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 MOON LANDING. This cover features the 29 cent "FIRST MOON LANDING 1969" stamp issued on July 20, 1994 in Washington, DC and is postmarked on that day at Mountain View, California, home to NASA's Ames Research Center with a circular cancel stating "25TH Anniversary Station, First Moon Landing 1969". Below the circular cancellation is the name "MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA". The cancellation includes an astronaut holding an American flag.


The cachet is entitled "THE EAGLE'S EYE" and has a drawing of the head of an American Eagle. Below the Eagle's head is written "APOLLO XI - 1969-1994. The cachet is attributed to C. Lightner Dunahue as noted next to the cachet.
