Maker: Ernest Borel Watch Company c.1965
Model: reference # 70.7051
Condition: This listing is for a vintage Ernest Borel chronograph wristwatch with box. It is powered by one of the most desirable iconic hand winding movements ever made, the 17 jewel Valjoux 72. This movement is gorgeous having been rhodium plated and Geneva striped, finishing touches most likely done in-house by the watch company. Although the watch is running, keeping accurate time, chronograph operates as it should and timegraph performance shown in pics, it is being sold as a non-running watch ONLY because of not having service records and presumed the buyer will have it serviced prior to using on a regular basis. I state it as running and show the performance here in the shop only so you know it does not have any major problems like balance issues or broken balance staff and a routine maintenence overhualing is all that should be needed. The dial appears to be original and not refinished. It is evenly aged throughout. The crystal also looks original to the watch and it is clean and clear with minor surface scratches but nothing that wouldn't polish out or detract from its cosmetic condition. The case is stainless steel and also looks like it has never been polished. There are light scratches throughout the case from normal wear. The black leather strap is NOS and has never been worn. The watch comes to you as shown and you will be very pleased with this iconic timepiece. Please note: S&H is so expensive due to the insurance cost. Acutal shipping will only be about $9 but there will easily be $40+ in the insurance costs.

Payment
eBay uses Managed Payments and the only method of payment is PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you may check out as a guest on PayPal using your credit or debit card. I will gladly accept the old fashioned method of payment if/when that is your only option however, all other methods will have a delay until cleared.

We combine shipping whenever possible to reduce your cost as long as it does not compromise the safety of fragile purchases. INTERNATIONAL: We use eBay's Global Shipping Program for ALL international transactions. We CANNOT combine shipping on our end. Taxes, duties and the expensive fees are between buyer and eBay. WE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
