This is a stunning very vintage, antique hand made lace bedspread / coverlet / panel with gorgeous lace inserts and wide lace trim throughout. There are scenic and Figural inserts ..on each side of the bedspread are beautiful large and tall standing arch angels . In the center bottom there is the god Poseidon sailing the sea with sea serpents in the water. There are smaller filet lace inserts with ladies heads. Then there are hand made lace inserts in the middle. ..it’s truly a beautiful piece. It has wide lace connecting all the smaller panels and the same lace on 3 sides ..2 sides and bottom side . The linen fabric is sheer and light and it’s hemmed across the top. It measures 83 by 84 inches and is in wonderful useable vintage condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with age with no rips, holes or tears..no stains ..its clean and smells good …it’s beautiful.
