Old Family Bible following the marriage of John Pritchett to Minnie Emma Little 1882
Very old family bible, inscribed inside when given as a wedding gift in 1882 and then later inscribed when the bible changed hands in 1973. Lovely large and heavy bible, outer hard cover with leather and brass decorative corners to hard cover. Please note the leather is starting to crumble away in some places so could do with restoring to stabilise. Brass hinges to secure book closed are complete and work fine, pages edged in gold leaf, few pages with light foxing and tanned with age, family portrait section has small tear to one page.
This bible also has a section from page 803 onwards for family portrait gallery followed by section where family historical information can and has been added from 1882 onwards (section already completed for the original owners of the bible i.e., John Pritchett marriage to Minnie Emma Little who were married on August 5th 1882). There is also a tiny piece of pressed twig with leaves which is loose in this section. The pages following have list of their children and then the grand children and following this a few deaths.

Items listed as 'Collection Only' are too large, heavy or fragile for transit and cannot be posted by us
as we do not have the resources to package them.

As we are a charity, we always aim to cover all postage and packaging costs with our rates,
we do not make any profit from this.
Our items are sent tracked by Evri (Formerly Hermes). Please let us know before paying if you would prefer your item to be sent via a different courier. For items valued over £50, we add a signature on delivery for extra security.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days, and Evri take 2-4 working days for delivery.
Delivery may be slightly delayed during busy periods.
