Picturesque Palestine Sinai and Egypt-comp 5 vols set-Pictorial gilded binding-Steel plates

Rare and very collectable, complete 5 volumes set.

Published in ca 1880 in London by Virtue & Co embellished with numerous high-quality engravings of which these volumes are also proud of. In pictorial gilded brown cloth binding with gilded page ends

Initially the set was planned for 4 volumes with an additional 5 volume added to the set, therefore the set is complete in 5 volumes. 

Offered in good condition with wear and tear that shall be expected from books of this age, with splits on spine, scuffs to boards, volume 5 is missing 4 steel plates, all other volumes are complete (checked all steel plates in person one by one)
