Key Features:
Everything is pristine
including the camera body and screen which has absolutely no discernible marks
on it, which is a rarity on these cameras. The
screen is crystal clear with absolutely no marks, blotches or
imperfections whatsoever.
This
camera has been professionally converted to "Full Spectrum" which makes
it rather fun for dabbling in infrared photography. To do this, the
IR/UV blocking filter has been removed from the sensor allowing the
camera to "see" light wavelengths that the human eye cannot. Because it
has been converted, shooting in infrared is hand-held just as in regular
photography unlike unconverted cameras which require long exposures as
the camera can't see the IR properly.
I
have included two essential filters, one of which is an IR/UV blocking
filter for the front of the lens which replaces the filter removed from
the sensor. This allows you to continue to use this camera as a "normal"
camera, and swapping this filter for the supplied 720nm IR filter opens
up a whole new world of fun. An orange filter is also included for some more colourful infrared shots.
So, everything that you will need is included. These filters are brand new.
The battery is good.
It
works perfectly (as expected)
and comes with everything seen in the images including a complimentary
bag and 32gb SD card which can hold over 5000 full res JPEG images. Also
included is a complimentary USB SD card reader.

If
you are new to IR photography, you will need a photo editor in order to
properly white balance and colour swap the red and blue channels for
the desired colour balance effects and blue skies. Without editing you
will not have good pictures. I can fully recommend
"Raw Therapee" which is free and does everything. This is what I use
myself. Once you get the hang of it you will find it easy to use, and
there are plenty of tutorial videos online. Another editor that is
commonly mentioned is "Gimp", but I have tried them both and much prefer
"Raw Therapee" as I find it easier to use and seems to do everything.
It seems to be "more complete" as Gimp doesn't seem to be able to
process RAW images.

About my cameras:
I am a small seller specialising in these impressive little Sony NEX cameras. I am a keen hobbyist photographer owning two myself, and have learned a few things. One thing in particular is knowing how to replace the original display screen surface which gets easily scratched and seriously marked during its life making them look ugly. In my experience this happens to varying degrees of "spectacularity" on ALL of these Sony cameras. I have yet to come across one that hasn't got any unsightly annoying marks or blotches on the screen, and it can sometimes be impossible to spot these on some eBay listing images.
This isn't caused by abusive wear and tear, but is an inherent weakness on all of these Sony screens when they are new, and even the oils from the skin on your fingers eat away at the surface and cause ugly blotches. It is impossible to clean these marks off as they are embedded, and trying to clean or polish them just makes things worse. I actually have to remove the surface layer of the screen (which is the top layer of a sandwich of two layers on top of the actual LCD, and is quite delicate work requiring good diligence) and replace it with a tempered glass surface which is totally durable compared to the original screen surface making the screen crystal clear again, and this will then last forever. You can't tell, and when this is done, they look and feel as good as new - if not better in my opinion - and you will never have to fear marks or scratches again. So, when I describe a camera screen as "Immaculate", then it truly is.
It is unlikely that you will find any cleaner Sony NEX cameras on eBay.
This operation cannot be done with touchscreens as they are different. And you just have to hope that they have had screen protectors applied from new.
My cameras also get a full function check and clean to make them look as close to "new" as possible.
