NOTE: Missing Back cover. I have 4 of them but sadly on 3 units, the back battery covers are missing. The batteries stay in place properly and I have also included a rubber band to hold the battery. This does not affect the function in anyway. 

The device includes a high speed HSPA+ 21.6 Mbps download Mobile Broadband capability (5.7 Mbps upload). The Mobile Wi-Fi R206z creates a personal portable Wi-Fi zone which allows several Wi-Fi enabled devices (for example PCs, Apple® iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, or mobile gaming devices such as Nintendo® DSi, Android devices including the Samsung® Galaxy and Apple iPhones® to share a secure mobile internet connection.

APN Settings

This modem will work with most 3G/4G SIM card but in some cases, you may need to setup the APN settings for the Modem. Some Mobile Operators require special APN setting. How it works

With this new device you can set up your own secure Pocket WiFi anywhere in Vodafone coverage with password protection. It's portable, wireless and battery powered, plus with one-touch setup you can share your broadband with up to 10 Wi-Fi devices quickly and easily. As long as your mobile phone, laptop, netbook or other device is Wi-Fi (802.11b and g) enabled, you will be able to connect to the internet through Pocket WiFi.

This is very easy to do. Find out your Mobile operators APN details by searching on google and watch the below video for step by step instructions of how to setup your APN if you are unable to connect this modem online.

1. Will this work with any 3G/4G Mobile Phone SIM card?

Answer: Yes this phone will work with any 3G/4G/5G Mobile phone SIM card including 3UK SIM card. The SIM card size it takes is the regular BIG size. If you want to use Micro or Mini SIM card, you will need a SIM card adapter.

2. Does this device have a battery and Electric power plug?

Answer: Yes this device comes with a rechargeable battery and an electric power plug. It can work on battery alone for few hours (Please read details above) so you can move it around. It can also be left on electric power all the time. The battery charges when you connect it to electric.

3. Can I connect external antenna (Arial) to  this device for better reception?

Answer: No. this device  does not have the option for external antenna. The Internal antenna is as good as or slightly better than a normal mobile phone antenna.

4. Can I connect to the internet by WiFi with this device?

Answer: Yes you can connect to WiFi internet with this device. This modem will work with most 3G/4G SIM card but in some cases, you may need to setup the APN settings for the Modem. 5. Do I get User Manual for this Modem?
