Dynastar Mythic 87 skis with 75mm telemark cable bindings. A banging, bargain of an opportunity to buy some quality touring skis.

Lovely free ride touring skis which had previously been fitted with alpine touring bindings. I have had some Voile 3 pin cable traverse 75mm telemark bindings fitted on them this season which have worked well together. The skis are in very good condition and are a fantastic shape for turning with a side cut of 127/87/103 and a 15 metre turning radius. The skis are also quite light and I would suggest that they are very suitable for free ride touring on short and medium days on the hill. These skis also work really well in the resort, on or off-piste skiing and are good fun to ride on. With this set up you are best to use the skis with 2 or 3 clip 75mm telemark boots up to the likes of the Scarpa T4 or T2?

The skis make alpine and telemark turns easily. As they are light they make an easy ski to carry up to the snow or for skinning up the hill. The Voile bindings have detachable cables which you take off for the climb using the 75mm 3 pins and then reattach for the descents. These lightweight bindings are pretty bomb-proof and are surprisingly powerful. Don't worry about the 179 cm length of the skis as the tips have an early rise shape so they feel much shorter than they are. The bases and edges were recently fully serviced and are both in good shape. I am a little reluctant to sell these skis and bindings but have recently bought a slightly wider ski of the same make and style so I am keen to make a quick sale and create some space in my loft! For your information the bindings retail new for £175 and the skis cost me £125 second hand last season, so the buyer is getting a fantastic deal for a quality set up.

Please note that as the skis are fairly long, finding a courier is very difficult and perhaps too expensive relative to the value of the skis. So the sale of the skis will have to be by collection only, or I would be willing to drop them off locally if need be.
