Rare Vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite from the original series production (1987-89). Dialed in and set up in-shop, plays great with low action. In excellent condition for the age, all originals, no mods or repairs. Some finish checking due to age common to vintage LPs. Wear includes buckle rash on back, finish worn off at back of bass side shoulder, string change blems on headstock, small chips and scratches, slight checking on binding. Some fading on gold hardware. Currently has gold straplock pins installed but original strap buttons are included. Includes a Hamer USA hardshell case; case is road worn and missing hinge latches on bottom and back but fully functional.

Description:

With a similar design to the typical Les Paul Custom, the appropriately-named Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite set out to give players a slightly lighter instrument with a body contour on the back for more comfortable playing. Its body was about 1 3/8 and featured gold hardware.
