VTG 60s 2 Yellow NWT and Pink Half Slips S M Smocking Lace Petticoat (tagged L)

Smocking.......Lace Trim
Up for bid are two vintage 60s petticoats or half slips. One is
pink.....the other is yellow. The yellow one appears to be new and has
an original size tag on the outside (rather stiff) which reads "Large"
but it appears to fit small to medium. The material is "65% Kodel
Polyester, 35% Cotton".
Features of these very cute slips include elastic waistbands, a bottom
ruffle of smocking and lace in the front with scalloped edged lace along
the hemline, and a different lace along the hem in the back.
Measurements: Yellow: Side of waist to side of waist 9 1/2 inches UNstretched to 17 inches Stretched.....Side of hips to side of hips approx 20 inches....Top of waistband to bottom hem 20 1/2 inches.
Pink: Side of waist to side of waist 9 1/2 inches UNstretched to 19
inches stretched.....Side of hips to side of hips approx 20 1/2
inches......Top of waistband to bottom hem 20 1/2 inches.
Condition:
Yellow: Mint.
Pink: Very good to excellent. A bit of seam stress on the right side. There are a few threads along the bottom of the elastic waistband that are pulled.
Both have been gently hand laundered and air dried and are ready to wear!

How I Measure Clothing: Measurements are of the garment.....not the wearer. Please be sure to allow and inch or two for comfort. Garment is measured while flat on a table. Please measure clothing that fits you well before you place a bid to make sure the item will fit you. All clothing, unless noted, is in used condition and will show some signs of wear. I will do my best to note every flaw that I find in the description. I am only human and may miss something.
Fiber Content Information/Cleaning/Mending: If the fiber content tag is still attached to the garment, I will state the information in the description. If there is no content tag, I will do my best to describe the material.....All garments will need to be hand laundered, machine laundered or dry cleaned prior to use unless I state that I have cleaned it. Some vintage fabrics require professional dry cleaning and I do not have a reliable cleaner in my area. Other vintage fabrics require special care and I dare not attempt using harsh chemicals or risk damage to the item. I will, however, clean garments if I feel comfortable doing so.
Due to my lack of sewing skills, any item requiring mending will be left to the new owner.
USA Refund Policy: If you are unhappy with your purchase, please email within 48 hours of receiving the package and state you will be returning the item. Refund will be given as soon as item is returned and inspected.
Item must be returned with a tracking number within 30 days of auction's end.
All items must be in the same condition as received.
Non smoking household. We do have a cat. Items secured from other locations may have been subjected to other environmental odors.
