This beautiful and functional laptop, probably from 2006, was owned by my father in law, who died. It is running XP SP3 and connects to the Internet with WIFI.
Warning: Running XP is insecure and risky.
The one problem I've seen is that sometimes the DVD drive ejects when it seemingly shouldn't, so I disabled the drive in device manager. You can enable it.
The laptop comes with a brand new non-ibm battery and brand new non-ibm charger.
In its day, this was an excellent laptop. It's still a beauty!
