This item is for ONLY for the most serious Astatic microphone collector who wants 1 of everything in his collection of vintage Astatic antique treasures. I will go as far as to say, I bet many collectors did not even know this mic existed! Even Astatic Canada and USA employees 25 years ago had no recollection of this mic. They did not live in that era when this was manufactured. There was so few made, it was just that rare in the 1970’s.

If you want something to show your buddies in your collection that they likely will never be able to own or find, and possibly never be able to Google and even find any information on it. You have one up on them here! 

This Mike is mint in the box, with paperwork and original box. I purchased this many years ago, exactly as shown. Full length PTT bar is unique and convenient. This mic is a transistorized mic that utilizes a small barrel shaped 7-Volt battery. Some of the earlier Astatic mics also used this type battery. It’s states this on the orange label on box top. 

This is being sold for sheer collectibility, rarity, as you may never see one again. If you do… It likely may not be complete as this. To put a price on an item as this is very hard, it is definitely an item to go into a collection and not be a daily driver. Look at the pictures and decide if this is for you.
