A W. Richards, Liverpool vintage leather gun case.

Generally good vintage condition, and good quality.

Nicely patinated chestnut brown textured leather over wood.

Very sturdy heavy wood frame (probably oak), handle is ok, well attached, but I would probably replace it along with finding some brass mounts for the corners. Three restraining strap keepers present.

 Brass clasp lock (unsurprisingly no key).

Internally lined in a claret coloured baize.

Fitted interior for up to 30" barrels. Nb. currently configured for 28" barrels with removable block.

External measurements: 32 7/8" x 9" x 3 1/2" (83.5 x 22.8 x 8.9 cms).

This is a really good quality gun case that would benefit from some light restoration bringing it up to a fine standard.
