Description: Offered at auction is a collection of 4 magazines (entire year) for Trend & Tradition from 2018.  Spring- 115pgs; Summer -107pgs; Autumn -109pgs; Winter -111pgs.  The covers are nice, heavy card stock paper. These magazines are not available to the public; you must be a member of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation to receive them. You will love reading and learning from these great references!

Contents of the magazines can be seen in the photos above.  Each edition is chock-full of information. The winter edition features articles on (included but not limited to) black history (Caesar Hope- Barber of York, James Armistead Lafayette), colonial barber instruments, George Wythe, Virginia's treason law, the founding fathers, York co. court records, Norman Rockwell, creating homemade lanterns, cabbage and recipes, filmmaker Ric Burns, the Antiques Forum and carriages.

Autumn includes articles on (but not limited to) Historic Trades, biracial relationships in colonial times, Ann Wager, A Perry Como Christmas, colonial vegetables, Jefferson's religious freedom bill, colonial dance, George III, George Washington, election integrity and immigration in the 1700s, 18th century lotteries, and pawpaws and figs and recipes.  
  
Summer includes articles on (but not limited to) the Colonial Williamsburg Magazine (armory), Historical interpreters at CW, Clementina Rind and printing in the 1700s, Patrick Henry, 18th century protests, pigs, smoking meats (BBQ), corn and recipes, creating decorative buttons and brewing ale. 

Spring includes articles on (but not limited to) Rare animal breeds, Aggy of Turkey Island, Betty Buckley, Thomas Everard and his house, First Ladies and their fashions, American textile manufacturing, peas and recipes, Lord Botetourt, and creating and decorating with silk flowers. 

Condition: Good to Acceptable. The Spring edition has some water damage to the cover and the first few pages due to a drink glass being set on it, but the information inside is not compromised in any way. The Autumn edition has a crunch on the spine. The Summer edition has a scrape at the top. Pages are in tact and not torn or marked up in any way.  

Shipping: Shipping is calculated at the time of sale by ebay based on the current shipping rates and includes tracking. Unfortunately, USPS forbids magazines from being shipped media mail. PLEASE REVIEW THE SHIPPING OPTIONS AND UNDERSTAND YOUR COST BEFORE BIDDING. For buyers purchasing multiple items from me, combined shipping may be available upon request.
